Internet Marketing Apprentice Online Coaching – Lesson 1

OK Guys.  If you have been following this blog for a while you will know that I started by subscribing to the free Internet Marketing Apprentice Coaching Program. Impressed with what I read I then signed up to their 7 Day Trial. Then in my last blog post I mentioned that impressed with the Trial, and everything I found in the Members Area, I made the decision to become a Full Member.

So far in this blog, I have been telling you about how excited I am at all the tools, videos and training provided, as well as how useful I am finding their Members Only Forum but my Bank Statement arrived today showing IMA had claimed their first monthly payment and I have been brought down to earth with a bump…

On the one hand I continue to be impressed with what amazing value the IMA Coaching Program is; but on the other hand that monthly payment on my statement is a reminder that the clock has started ticking and perhaps the time has come for me to stop being like a kid in a Candy Shop standing motionless, eyes wide open, looking around in awe and amazement at everything around me in the Members Area and it’s time to take a deep breath and start getting down to business and studying the Coaching Lessons provided.

I will not go into detail about what each Coaching Lesson is about as there is no point as you can get them free and read them yourself.  Instead I will use this blog as a diary of my response to each lesson so you can follow my progress (or failure) live as it happens.

Will this blog become a week by week testimony of how the Internet Marketing Apprentice program changes my life and puts me firmly on the road to success?  Or will it become full of criticism, warnings and shouts to stay well away?

Will I have, and receive, the dedication and support to see my income rise to a level where I can support myself and my family purely from my online ventures… or will I become despondent, distracted and depressed and abandon this coaching after just a few lessons cursing the day I signed up?

Time will tell.

Anyway; let’s make a start.  As I said; you can sign up for the coaching lessons free yourself. When I signed up the first email to arrive was actually an “Orientation Module” which gave a basic introduction to the two creators of IMA (Craig Dawber and Randy Smith), an introduction to Internet Marketing and also the course.

The first thing I liked was that Craig and Randy, although being very experienced Internet Marketers, seemed to have a very down-to-earth, hands-on, approach to teaching and appeared to be genuinely interested in helping their students.

I liked their easy to understand explanation about what Internet Marketing is and their differentiation between “taking shortcuts” and “cutting corners”.  Their comments about “Justifable Failure” were also encouraging. I finished reading the Orientation Module encouraged, with a positive mental attitude and with a strengthened will to succeed.

However, the following day Lesson 1 arrived.

Oh dear; it looks like they are expecting me to stop dreaming and start doing.

As I mentioned earlier you can obtain your free copies of the Internet Marketing Apprentice coaching modules yourself so I will not go into detail about what Lesson 1 covers but it’s title is “Choosing a market and planning your venture”.  It goes into loads of detail in a practical, down-to-earth way about choosing the niche for your future product.

OK.  So, after going through Lesson 1 for myself, and following the ton of practical tips put forward by Craig & Randy I have reached a decission on the niche I wish to concentrate on. It is a subject I love and an area where I can see myself growing my initial product into an interesting series of related products.

I am looking forward with excitement and anticipation for Lesson 2.

    Hi Ian
Check on my blog…-free-coaching was a post I wrote about IMA and the article I wrote to promote was declined. Twice. The article was so passionate it was a sales pitch and I kept toning it down till it was accepted. It cost me my Platinum status, but I worked hard to eventually get it.
So. don’t ever give up and you won’t find better guys than Craig, Randy and John.
Stick with it and if you need any help, just shout. I need to get back in the forum, it’s been a long time, but I have been offline for a while due to Eddie’s health.

    Hi Dee,

Thanks for visiting my blog. I don’t know yet if the IMA course covers Article Writing but is an area which I look forward to experimenting with and learning more about. Yes; it would be great to see you in IMA Forum if you get a chance.

    Best wishes,
